``everything i knew seems unimportant do i really give a d**n about any of this?
The soft sound of converse sneakers could be heard down the hallway before the door to the science lab opened softly. Blonde hair could be seen before Liz’s head peered around the corner, looking to make sure the room was empty before entering. Earlier, she’d left her bag in the room, a silly mistake perhaps but she’d been a little preoccupied, namely by an incredibly cute guy by the name of Lysander who had walked out of class with her. It was a rare occasion when he was nice to her, so she took it and ran with it. Unfortunately, her bag wasn’t included in her taking and running plans.
Tip-toeing silently to the back of the room, Liz found her bag exactly where she’d left it. Picking it up hastily, she moved to the door but stopped, intrigued by the spooky silence that only an empty classroom has. It was entirely silent, at this end of the school you couldn’t even hear the noisy students out for their lunch break. She paced casually around the room, stopping to look at the dead things in jars. The biology lab freaked her out a little, she had to admit. All the dead things in jars just didn’t do it for her.
Liz placed her bag on the nearest table, searching around for the one thing she’d been told to take care of. Getting more frantic searching the depths of her bag, Liz grew worried as the amulet, which usually hung around her neck but had gotten a little heavy, proved to be no-where in her bag. Silently, Liz cursed herself as she instantly started looking around the room.
She had to admit, she felt an odd sense of relief from loosing the Amulet. As a human, she had no idea of the power it possessed, or the damage it could do in another’s hands. Cursing, she fell to her knees, scooping her hair back as she searched the floors. With the barest sense of remorse, Liz spotted it under a chair across the room. Sighing, she crawled over and was about to reach out, putting the amulet safely back in her possession when she saw feet standing right on the other side of the chair. Startled, she pulled her hand away from the Amulet, leaving it lying under the chair.
ooc-*shock* the amulet is out of Liz's possession!!! No way!!! What will happen!! Sorry about the length shortness, but oh the drama!

Feel the wind on your shoulder, For a minute, all the world can wait
She'd seen a backpack left in the Biology Room as they left the room, heading towards the Cafeteria. Though, once she reached the large room, bleached white with tables scattered everywhere, she made her way out of the line, and through the double doors, and back to the Biology Lab. This place wasn't her cup of tea, she just wasn't up for the dead things floating in jars. It just didn't float her boat. Converse Sneakers silently made their way across the stone floor, seeing a petite figure on the ground, reaching under a chair. 'I've seen her somewhere. I know I have.' she told herself repeatedly, wracking her brain trying to think from where. 'IM!' she screamed in her head. "Elizabeth?" she questioned aloud, though she probably couldn't have heard her.
She slowly made her way over to the chair, and bent down, dropping her Messenger Bag next to her. "I'm Aleera. From the IM Chat room." she told her, reaching under the chair, and laying a hand on the necklace. She pulled it out, and stared at it. She recognized it too. But, from where? "I've seen this before." she said, laying it next to Elizabeth.
She opened her Messenger Bag, and dug through the papers. Finally coming upon a light blue binder, that she'd decorated head to toe in her name. She opened it, and pulled out a sheet of paper. Laying it out, in between the two, she scooted over next to Elizabeth, the buttons on her jeans being pushed into her by her feet. Her fingers skimmed the paper, flattening it out. She pointed to the large object in the middle of the piece of paper, showing the design of the amulet. "See?" [/blockquote]

``i'm feeling young and reckless the ribbon on my wrist says do not open before christmas
Liz hardly noticed the fact that she was holding her breath as the figure in front of her dropped to the ground. She didn’t really know what she was expecting, but she knew it wasn’t thins …
"I'm Aleera. From the IM Chat room."
Aleera? She wracked her brain for the name. ‘Right!’ it hit her only a moment later. This was the girl she and Alice had talked to.
“Oh! Hey Aleera! It’s great to finally meet you in person” she smiled happily, almost relieved to see Aleera and not someone else. Her instincts told her she could trust Aleera, not like some of the other new students at the school this year. But Aleera seemed to be occupied with something else. As she reached under the chair, pulling the amulet towards her, Liz’s first reaction was to reach out and take it away from her. Though, as soon as Aleera touched it, that weird little voice in her head told her it was okay.
‘Hey, if weird head voice tells me its okay, I’m going to go with it’ Liz thought stupidly to herself.
"I've seen this before."
Liz was shocked. Think about it, her necklace wasn’t the most common design in the world. After all, it was a little strange. Personally, Liz thought it was a little too religious for her tastes. She never was really one for the whole ‘angel’ thing. No, that definitely sounded more up Cole’s alley. While she was in this little reverie however, Aleera has pulled out a sketch, presumably one of her own and put it in between the two of them. The first thing that struck Liz was the sheer skill and amazing quality in the sketch. Directed by Aleera, she scanned the image, finally resting her eyes on the largest component in the center. Her eye’s widened in an almost comical way and she sat back, more than just a little shocked.
“Wow …” she heard herself breath. She picked up the amulet, lying it on the piece of paper, directly next to it’s sketched doppelganger. Sure enough, the two were identical, down to the slightest detail. “That’s some strange coincidence” Liz said decidedly, sure that was all it was. Though thoroughly optimistic, if something didn’t fully suit Liz’s idea of the world, she tended to ignore it. This was a perfect example of her ignorant tendencies. So, it seemed too strange to be true that Aleera would know exactly what the trinket looked like and draw it, that Liz passed it off as some strange coincidence.

' let's go back to the beginning, when all the sun, the moon, the stars, all aligned
When she'd picked up the amulet, she'd known she'd seen it somewhere before, known it. But, she passed it off as absent-mindedness, and noticed Liz hesitate to take it from her. Already having properly introduced herself, she took to staring at the two. One was real. One was sketched. But, she'd done this sketch years ago. How was it she'd drawn it down to the last scratch? She didn't know, but, she'd mention it later to her. It wasn't like it was life or death. However she didn't feel comfortable not mentioning it. "Y'know, Liz, I made this drawing a few years back, and I don't think I've ever seen this thing." she said, giving her a serious face.
She was never the one to be this serious, and really only her twin would know that. But, since she hadn't seen her for days, she didn't know where she'd disappeared to. Oh well, now was not the place or time. What was that saying? That she'd never seen it before. Would Liz believe her? Or turn her down, like everybody else did.
“That’s some strange coincidence.”
She didn't think there was a coincidence, but, she just passed off the feeling that something weird was going on here. Such as Angels and Demons actually existing. That was crazy talk, but was it true? If so, why was it these two to stumble upon it? "But, in the drawing, why is the amulet in the middle? " she questioned both herself, and Liz. Maybe she'd have an idea. " Because, it looks like more than just your average food fight." she said, a shadow of a grin playing across her face. She wasn't that much of a fan of Modern Mythology, but, would she sound really weird, if she asked her the question? Did she believe in Angels and Demons? Though cleared the question from her mind when she was brought back to Reality by Liz's voice.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Liz sat down fully, leaning against a near-by desk. Strange coincidences seemed to follow her around these days. What, was she a magnet or something? Honestly. At least this was one of the less strange ones. After all, some pretty freaky things had happened to her lately, and they all seemed to do with the stupid necklace. She didn’t even want it if she had to tell the truth. It was heavy, hardly ‘in style’, not that she worried about that, and as far as she was concerned, it was just a black of metal.
"But, in the drawing, why is the amulet in the middle?"
Liz examined the drawing more closely this time. So the Amulet did seem to be in the middle of the drawing. In between a kind of … fight scene? One thing’s for sure, this wasn’t any modern day scene. After all, from what she’d seen in movies, these days fights were ended with guns, and big ones. The figures in the painting looked older than that.
"Because, it looks like more than just your average food fight."
And Aleera had a point, this didn’t exactly look like the kind of fight which was just for giggles and fun. Though there wasn’t a gun in sight, these people were tearing into the fight. Liz shrugged it off in that carefree way of hers and turned to Aleera, “Well, I mean it’s just a drawing right? These figures look like something out of …” Liz searched her mind for the word she was looking for. Fantasy didn’t quite cut it, that was more for unicorns and fairies, and history was just too real. “Mythology!” Liz said suddenly, pleased that she’d found the word she was looking for.

She giggled a bit. It seemed that the people in this school were quite a bit forgetful. But, that was why she was giggling. Because she did the same exact thing.
She tried to find a word she needed, but never could.
"Great, we're on the same page. But, do you actually believe in stuff like that?" she questioned her. She herself didn't, but, this picture and her amulet forced a person to for just a minute.
“Well, I mean it’s just a drawing right?"
Well, was it?
"I really don't know." she told her, examining it once more. Blood scattered the ground beneath the figures feet. "Judging by the blood shed beneath their feet, it looks as if they're warring over the amulet." she said, taking her pencil out. She put a small mark on a puddle of the thick red liquid. Then another one on a person on one side, and then another on the other side.
Marking opne of them 'angel', another 'demon', and the puddle 'blood'.
She pulled out her cellphone. "Time to call in the Experts." she said to herself. On the text line were two phone numbers, one she was sure Liz already knew. He wasn't a scholarship student, not like the other one.
"Constance, Cole, I need to talk to you. 911. Biology Room."
Hopefully they would come. Because, if there was actually a war between these two races, over the amulet that was laying beside them.
Then all hell was about to break loose.
ooc ; i ish sorry ashlei, but, i seriously have like, no muse whatsoever,
